Eight 麻豆映画传媒 students recently earned high honors during the Business Professionals of America (BPA) National Leadership Conference in Dallas, Texas.

More than 6,000 students competed at all levels from across the nation. All MCC students finished in the top 10 for their events.

Connor Clark, of Greenville, earned 10^th place in Basic Office Systems & Procedures; Morgan Mason, of Belding, placed 5^th in Fundamental Desktop Publishing, 5^th听in Graphic Design Promotion and 6^th听in Integrated Office Applications; Mary McQuarrie, of Ionia, earned 5^th听place in Promotional Photography; Kyleigh Mills, of Greenville, placed 8^th in Interview Skills; Lindsey Olger, of Lakeview, placed 4^th听in Graphic Design Promotion and 9^th听in Interview Skills; Celena Rosset, of Edmore, earned 3^rd听place in Ethics & Professionalism, and 3^rd听place in Parliamentary Procedure Concepts; and Claire Scott, of Greenville, and Noelle Kyes, of Belding, placed 3^rd听in Small Business Management Team.

BPA Advisors Bill Bishop, who is an MCC business instructor, and Kristen Diehl, MCC鈥檚 CIS lab coordinator, accompanied the students during the trip.

鈥淚t was a wonderful experience for all of the competitors,鈥� Bishop said. 鈥淭he students did a great job of representing MCC.鈥�

Business Professionals of America is the leading Career Technical Student Organization for students pursuing careers in business management, office administration, information technology and other related career fields.
